An entertaining look at America’s foremost humorist, lecturer, writer and adventurer.

Enjoy his thoughts, stories and commentary on life.

“I was gratified to be able to answer promptly, and I did. I said I didn’t know.”

“Life on the Mississippi”

“Always do right. This will gratify some people, and astonish the rest.”

“Note to Young People’s Society”

For the past two years I have been studying the life and work of Sam Clemens (including visits to his boyhood home in Hannibal and Hartford mansion) and his alter ego Mark Twain. My hope is that my performance will give others an appreciation of the great powers of observation Twain exhibited during his lifetime. His was a life well lived, he traveled more than anyone of his time, he knew great happiness and great loss, but along the way he chronicled everything and with good humor commented on the foibles of mankind.
